Plasticized polyesters containing 1 to 35 wt % of selected imide ester plasticizers. The plasticized polyesters have substantially reduced volatility and smoking, melt viscosities, melting points, and glass transition temperature as well as improved processing characteristics. These plasticized compositions are useful as adhesives in the form of powders, fibers, pellets, rods, melt blown webs, and flexible films as well as for use in extruded flexible shapes (e.g., tubing). |
