<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an electronic control device from being inoperative due to erroneous operation of a key switch, by providing a slef-sustaining circuit for holding the energization of the electronic control device when the key switch is turned off, and a means for turning off the self-sustaining circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a key switch 2 is turned on, a voltage from a battery 1 is applied to a constant voltage power source 5 in an electronic control device 6 so that an engine is operated. Meanwhile, the electronic control device 6 transmits and receives signals to and from an external control device through an input and output circuit 8d, and therefore, applies a voltage through a diode 12 in accordance with an input signal from the external control device. Accordingly, even if the key switch 2 is erroneously turned off or a fuse 3-1 blows out, a relay 4 is maintained to be energized so that a constant voltage power source 5 is self-substained. This self-substained condition is released when it is confirmed that a safety condition being established.</p> |
