摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to restrain vibration having a cycle period around the cycle period of the nonsuspended section of a vehicle upon resonance, by making the characteristics of suspension hard when the detected level of the vehicle exceeds a predetermined value and the cycle period of variation in the vehicle level falls in a predetermined range including the cycle period of the nonsuspended section of the vehicle upon resonance. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle level detecting means M1 delivers a detected vehicle level to a vehicle level judging means M3 and a vehicle level variation cycle period judging means M4. When the judging means M3 determines that the vehicle level M1 exceeds a predetermined value and further the judging means M4 determines that the cycle period of variation in the level of the vehicle falls in a predetermined range including the cycle period of the nonsuspended section of the vehicle upon resonance, the result thereof is delivered to a control means M5. Then, the control means M5 delivers a control signal in accordance with the result of the determination to a suspension characteristic changing means M2 to make the characteristic of suspension hard. With this arrangement, vibration having a cycle period around the cycle period of the nonsuspended section of the vehicle upon resonance may be restrained.
