PURPOSE:To absorb air flow in a frame as a vertical and horizontal uniform flow and discharge it out of the frame by a method wherein an opening or closing wall is arranged at any side surface of the frame, several suction holes are made in a floor surface of the frame to absorb air flow containing powder dusts and organic solvent or the like from a lower part of the frame and to discharge them out of the frame, and a ceiling surface can be opened or closed with respect to the opening or closing wall. CONSTITUTION:An opening or closing wall 16 is arranged at an opened end 14a of a shielding wall 14 and can be closed as required. A porous floor 18 having several suction holes is laid on a floor surface of a frame 10 and a discharging duct 20 is extended along a lower end of the shielding wall 14. An opening or closing film 42 to be opened or closed while being expanded or retracted and moved along the ceiling surface of the frame 12 causes a suspending length of a suspending wall 44 to be varied in response to a stopping position on a rail 38. As a result, since an opening area defined by a suspending end 44a between the floor 18 and the suspending wall 44 is relatively varied, if a vertical uniform flow of specified air volume is always sucked from the porous floor 18 and the suspending end 44a can always hold a specified air speed. |
