PURPOSE:To enable automatic elimination of a television image by detecting the travelling condition while connecting an operational drive computer to a video signal on/off switching unit then controlling the switching unit by means of the output signal thereby detecting the travelling condition of vehicle accurately. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of an output from a counter 7, an on/off switching unit 2 will control a video signal. A drive computer 9 will process the inputs from various sensors and perform operations to detect the under travelling condition of a vehicle accurately thus to function a counter 7. Upon receiving the clock signals from a transmission circuit 6 more than predetermined times, an off signal is fed to the switching unit 2 and an image on a CRT 1 is erased. In such a manner, the under travelling condition of a vehicle can be detected accurately and the television screen can be erased automatically after the start of travelling.
