PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect only a moving matter, by converting photosynthesized beam to an electric signal through a group of a plurality of photoelectric converter elements arranged in a matrix form and driving a group of beam emitting elements arranged in a matrix form correspondingly to the electric signal conversion. CONSTITUTION:When an output beam Bm corresponding to the radar searching range of a Doppler radar main body 10 or 10' is allowed to irradiate a group 11 of a large number of photoelectric converter elements 111-11n arranged in a matrix from from said Doppler radar main body 10 or 10', the output signals of the photoelectric converter elements 111-11n are successively processed by filter and amplifiers 121-12n, detectors 131-13n and signal amplifying and light emitting control circuits 141-14n and, in a group 15 of beam emitting elements 151-15n arranged in a matrix form, the emission of beams from the beam emitting elements 151-15n is appropriately performed correspondingly to the intensity of the reflected signal from moving matter. By this method, the moving matter detected by the Doppler radar is displayed on a secondary picture comprising the element group 15. Further, correspondingly to the detection state of the moving matter, the display corresponding to the shape and size of the moving matter detected on the secondary picture is performed.
