<p>Synthetic diamond is obtained by the chemical vapor-phase growth process, which comprises gasifying an organic compound containing at least carbon, hydrogen, and at least one of oxygen and nitrogen, mixing the resulting gas with a hydrogen gas, decomposing the mixture gas by the energy of heat, electron beams, light, direct current glow discharge, alternating current arc discharge, or direct current arc discharge, and introducing the decomposed gas onto the surface of a heated base (5) to precipitate diamond.</p> |
