PURPOSE:To make it possible for a user to readily select whether a louver is stopped by taking an air flow direction at the stop position of the louver into consideration beforehand by stopping the louver at a predetermined position when a louver for changing the air flow direction is stopped in an air conditioner or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a drive switch 48 is opened, power supply from a power source VDD which has been applied to the terminal 47 of an OR circuit 45 is stopped. However, since one input terminal 46 is of a high level voltage, a drive motor 32 does not stop. Thereafter, when light emission of the light emission element 40 of a photointerrupter 39 is detected by a light receiving element 41 via a cutaway portion 42, the OR circuit 45 outputs a low level voltage to make a transistor 50 non-conductive and d-eenergize a relay coil 54. For this reason, a relay switch 53 is opened and power supply to the drive motor 32 is stopped. Since position where the cam plate 35 stops upon this occasion is a position where the louver faces the front surface, hot air is discharged constantly toward the front surface at the time of stopping the cam plate 35.
