PURPOSE:To enable a printing paper to be automatically fed to a printing part simply by inserting the paper and enable the start of the automatic feeding of the paper to be notified beforehand, by providing an alarm means operated on completion of time counting by a first timer operated when the insertion of the paper is detected by a detecting means, and a second timer the time-counting action of which is finished after the operation of the first timer is finished, and operating a paper-feeding means on completion of the time-counting action of the second timer. CONSTITUTION:With a printing paper inserted, a micro-switch 15 is turned ON, a clear input terminal CL of a data latch 19 is brought to a low level, and a first 18 starts a time-counting action. After a predetermined period of time, the time-counting action is finished, and a transistor 33 is turned ON to turn ON a light-emitting diode 31, on which a second timer 22 starts counting clock pulses, thereby starting a time- counting action. After time counting is continued for a predetermined period of time from the moment the time-counting action of the first timer 18 is finished, the time- counting action of the second timer 22 is finished. In response to this, a motor-driving part 25 is started operating, sends driving pulses to a pulse motor 9 to rotate a driving roller 10, thereby feeding the printing paper to a printing part.
