PURPOSE:To smoothly turn a turret by arranging at least two pairs of mooring ropes tangential to the lower end of a turret so as to extend on both sides of the turret. CONSTITUTION:Mooring ropes 33a-33h are stretched to anchors set on the sea bottom from a winch on a turret 23 through the first fairleads 25 and the second fairleads 26. Two parallel mooring ropes forms one set and its distance W is maximized in accordance with the turret 23. Each set of mooring ropes is stretched in four directions at an angle of 90 deg.. In addition, the mooring ropes oppositely arranged from the turret 23 are stretched so as to pass the adjacent fairlead. When a ship tends to turn in an R direction, the tension of mooring direction is produced in mooring ropes 33b, 33d, 33f, and 33h, and strong return resistance is obtained.
