<p>Magnetic recording medium comprising a non-magnetic base layer carrying a magnetic recording layer on one side and a back coating containing carbon black. The preferred carbon black has a surface area of between 18 and 50 m2/g and an average crystallite size, Lc, of between 18 and 60 Angstroms. Runability, edge damage and dropout characteristics are improved.</p> |
