PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of loading operation and enable a pattern formed on a printed surface to be preserved for a long time by printing fixed information and transferring variable information using a high energy beam projected by a high energy beam printer, automating a work to load a metal plate into a binding belt and applying clear paint on a printed surface. CONSTITUTION:A metal plate carrier arm 4 rotates 90 deg., carrying a metal plate 9 sticking to a suction plate 43 to a printing position 9a. A high energy laser beam is transmitted by a laser printer located above the printing position 9a, melting the upper surface of the metal plate 9. This results in the vaporization of the melted surface and imprinting of a pattern. After completion of printing work on the metal plate 9 at the printing position 9a, the metal plate 9 is mounted on a painting position 9b by a manipulator 5. Then a prearranged amount of clear paint is injected from a paint jet nozzle 7 provided on the painting position 9b applying the metal plate 9. |
