PURPOSE:To obtain the titled body having an improved durability by incorporating a specific stilbene compd. to a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer provided on a conductive substrate contains the stilbene compd. shown by the formula wherein R is H, a (substd.) alkyl or a (substd.) phenyl group, Ar is a (substd.) alkyl or a (substd.) phenyl group, Ar is a (substd.) carbon ring aromatic residue or a (substd.) heterocyclic aromatic residue, (n)=0 or 1. Said compd. has a function of the photoconductive substance in the photosensitive layer. As said compd. does not almost absorb a light having a visible wavelength, said compd. is used adding the sensitizing dyestuff, or is used as an electric charge transfer medium jointly using an electrostatic charge generating substance. The compd. makes easy to produce the titled body and when said compd. is used as the photosensitive body, the durability of the titled body may be improved. |
