<p>An inertia valve includes a valve member (15) which is free to move axially in a cylindrical housing (10, 11) between a baffle plate (16) and a valve seat (26), the baffle plate (16) is provided with at least one collapsible formation (18) which may be partially crushed against an adjacent wall of the housing (10) to provide approximate location of the baffle plate (16) relative to the valve seat (26) and adjustable screw means (21) for accurately adjusting free movement of the valve member (15) after assembly of the valve.</p> |
