PURPOSE:To make an exhauster have a damping function of high- and low-frequency components as well as to improve a muffling effect without entailing any diametral enlargement of a silencer, by locking a wire gauze to an inner wall surface of an exhaust chamber, and laying glass wool on an inner circumferential part of the wire gauze. CONSTITUTION:Both exhaust pipes 1 and 2 are interconnected to an exhaust chamber 3, and two silencers 4 and 5 are connected to the downstream side of the exhaust chamber 3. A wire gauze 8 is locked to an inner wall surface of the exhaust chamber 3, while glass wool 9 being held by a punching metal 10 is laid down on an innercircumferential part of the wire gauze 3. With this constitution, occurrence of outer shell noises of a low-frequency component is checked, while exhaust noises of a high-frequency component are absorbable owing to the glass wool.
