PURPOSE:To improve the transmission efficiency by sending a compression bit string being the result of compression conversion of an information bit string at each block and a compression conversion table corresponding the compression bit string from a transmitter to a receiver and sending the information while restoring it. CONSTITUTION:An information bit string sent from the transmitter 1 is stored in an information compression compressor 1a, the same pattern is extracted from the stored information bit string, the interblock of the content of the information bit string is discriminated from the appearance frequency of one and same pattern, blocking is applied at each interblock to generate a compression conversion table at each block. Then according to the compression conversion table generated at each block, the information bit string in each block is converted into the compression bit string. A modulator 2 modulates the compression conversion table and the compression bit string and sends the result to a transmission line 3, they are demodulated by a demodulator 4 and inputted to an information restoration device 5a. The information restoration device 5a stores them once through a procedure control and restores the compression bit string into the information bit string according to the content of the compression conversion table.
