PURPOSE:To attain ease of circuit integration by providing a picture data latch, a color lookup table and a color data latch. CONSTITUTION:Picture data read from a frame memory are read out in the order of D1-D4. They are fetched to picture data latches 1-4 at the leading of clocks phi1-phi4. Four outputs LD1-LD4 of the color data latch are inputted to a data multiplex type D/A converter, where they are D/A-converted sequentially when clocks phi5-phi8 are positive. The data multiplex D/A converter applies D/A conversion to n-set of digital inputs in time division while switching them sequentially to extract an analog output. The data are divided into four systems internally in this way, then the load to a RAM is relieved and a highly integrated and low power consumption RAM regardless of a low speed is used so as to facilitate the circuit integration.
