PURPOSE:To form a solar cell module having no possibility of forming a deposited layer of dirt on the periphery part of the module and no possibility of obstructing the sliding and falling of stayed snow by filling a moisture barrier material in the inner periphery part of the module for the waterproof treatment of the peripheral end part of the module. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of pieces of solar cell elements 1 are mutually connected and are pinched between two sheets of pottants 2 consisting of ethylenevinyl acete (EVA), for example, from their both side surfaces, while a 3-7mm wide polyester adhesive tape 10, for example, is adhered in advance on a light-receiving surface glass 3 along the periphery on the contact surface side with the pottants. Similarly, a polyester adhesive tape 11 is adhered on a water repellent back surface plate 4 being applied on both surfaces of a metal foil of Al or the like which intercepts the invasion of moisture and consisting of a thermal laminate resin, such as polyvinyl fluorite (PVF), along the periphery on the contact surface side with the pottants in such a way as to be positioned at the same place as that of the polyester adhesive tape 10 adhered on the light-receiving surface glass 3. Hereby, the possibility of a deposition of dirt or an accumulation of snow on the surface of the glass 3 is eliminated and the sun light can be stably received for a long term even though this solar cell module is installed in the outdoors. |
