PURPOSE:To feed bar foods to a skewering machine effectively, by feeding the bar foods from a charge hopper to a rotary feeder, to make them in a good position, successively feeding them through a timing hopper to a dent channel of a feed conveyor and transporting. CONSTITUTION:Bar foods such as sausages, etc., are fed to a charge hopper 12, each necessary amount of the foods are discharged, fed to a rotatable circular container of a rotary feeder 16 and sent out in a tangential direction while rotating them in a horizontal plane so the foods are made in a position uniform in a longer direction and discharged. Then, the discharged bar foods are fed to a timing hopper 28 and temporarily stored in a uniformed position. Then, the bar foods are fed one by one to a cutting channel positioning at the top of a drum feeder 27. When the cutting channel is rotated downward, the foods are successively fed to each channel 7a of a feed conveyor 7, supported and successively transported to a skewering machine 5 to carry out spitting.
