<p>PURPOSE:To attain transmission with excellent transmission efficiency by providing plural information transmission modes including a transmission mode not sending information of a present pattern to send the information relating to the information transmission mode. CONSTITUTION:Any of modes (e), (c) and (p) is assigned to each picture element block from a mode decision circuit 107 and the mode information is outputted as 2-bit digital data. After the mode information data is converted into 2-bit serial data from 2-bit parallel data by a parallel/serial converter 115, the result is converted into an analog mode information signal by a D/A converter 116 via a buffer 112. Then the picture element signal and mode information signal converted into analog signals by D/A converters 114, 116 respectively are subjected to frequency multiplex by a mixing circuit 117 and outputted as output transmission signals.</p> |
