PURPOSE:To control the outer diameter of a wound body, or spiral electrode within a specified value by detecting the thickness of anode and cathode plates and controlling the pressure of a roller. CONSTITUTION:Before winding, anode and cathode plates 7, 6 are placed on plate stands 8, 8' and their thickness is measured with thickness sensors 9, 9', and thickness signals are inputted into a controller 11. By pushing-out cylinders 10, 10', anode and cathode plates are pushed in between plates supply fixtures 5, 5'. Since the relation between the total thickness of both plates and the pressure of rollers 3, 3; is previously inputted, the thickness signals inputted into the controller 11 are added to the signal from the both plates, and converted into a pressure signal and the pressure signal is outputted to pressure controllers 12, 12'. When winding operation starts, the rollers 3, 3' press a wound body with the pressure given based on the thickness of the plates to form a spiral electrode. |
