<p>The invention relates to rear reflectors for motor vehicles and in particular a covering glass (10) or the like for at least one vehicle signalling light, of the type comprising a first region (16) intended to perform a catadioptric retroreflecting function, and a second region (16') intended not to perform the said function. According to the invention, the glass comprises in the first region a set of first needles forming total-reflection prisms, each defining a co-ordinate trihedral, in order to define the said catadioptric retroreflecting function, and comprises in the second region (16') a set of second needles (20'), each defining a trihedron, the faces of which define in pairs an angle close to 90 degrees, and other than 90 degrees between at least two of the said faces, in order not to perform the said catadioptric function, whilst at the same time having, in diffuse light, a general appearance similar to that of the first needles. <IMAGE></p> |
