<p>This direction indicator according to the invention consists of a set of two parallelepipedal boxes (1), one face of which (2) intended to face towards the rear of the vehicle is made from a translucent plastic bearing three successive arrows (3), (3'), (3''), the contours of which are dulled, intended to indicate the manoeuvres which the vehicle is about to make, to the right and then to the left, and vice versa. Behind this translucent face (2), and inside the box, there are arranged electric bulbs (4), (4'), (4''), controlled in a known manner, connected directly to the power unit (7) for the vehicle indicator lights. These bulbs are arranged in front of reflecting elements which can consist of a reflective aluminium sheet (9) arranged against the bottom (5) of the box (1). A bundle (6) of standard wires connects the three bulbs via a so- called parallel connection connected to the wires of the indicator lights. The three arrows made from flexible plastic (3), (3'), (3''), which are transparent and, for example, coloured red, are attached by being adhesively bonded to the inside of a translucent plastic sheet (2), for example of the "PLEXIGLAS" type, closing the box (1) with respect to the bulbs (4), (4'), (4'') respectively. <IMAGE></p> |
