PURPOSE:To make an abnormal vibration from the outside detectable, by installing a false breaking signal generating part, ab AE signal converter, an abnormal vibration detector and an abnormal viro-outputting device, in case of a false breaking signal generator for a tool breaking detector. CONSTITUTION:A false breaking signal generator 1 is attached to a chuck 31 of a tool supporting part 30 of a machine tool, while an AE sensor 32 is attached to the side of this tool supporting part 30, and it is connected to a tool breaking detector 33. If setting of the false breaking signal generator 1 is not proper, it causes the machine tool to operate, so that when the false breaking signal generator 1 is rotated, an abnormal vibration is produced there whereby an abnormal vibro-detector inside operates, a light emitting diode is lighted, and the signal is given to a machine tool control circuit 22 as an inhibiting signal from an abnormal signal detecting circuit 21 via a phototransistor, stopping the machine tool. With this constitution, damage to the false breaking signal generator due to the abnormal vibration and its slip-off are preventable before such happens. |
