PURPOSE:To improve storage/delivery efficiency with simple control by providing circulatively rotated cargo conveying devices at appropriate positions on the outside of a multi-stage rotary shelf for storage and delivery respectively and storing or delivering at least on one rotary shelf unit and another rotary shelf unit almost simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:Circulatively rotated conveying devices 3, 11 are provided at appropriate positions on the outside of a multi-stage rotary shelf for delivery and storage. Two conveying tools 3-c are provided on the endless chain of a circulatively rotary device and arranged so that when one of them is at the lowest stage the other is at the highest stage. Accordingly, the circulatively rotated cargo conveying device is provided with two conveying tools in all, one in a half cycle of the circulative path, thus no complex control device is required. In addition, an article can be stored on one shelf unit of two rotary shelf units and an article can be delivered from the other shelf unit almost simultaneously, thus allowing high-speed processing.
