PURPOSE:To prevent the microbial decomposition of raw rice flour and the proliferation of insects, and to elongate the storable period, by mixing naturally seasoned raw rice flour with powdery sorbitol, and sealing in an oxygen-free state. CONSTITUTION:Raw rice fluor having a water-content of >=15% and prepared by the polishing, grinding and natural seasoning of unmilled rice, is mixed with powdery sorbitol or a mixture of powdery sorbitol and saccharides such as sucrose, glucose, maltose, fructose, etc. and sealed together with a disoxidation agent with a gas-barrier synthetic resin film, aluminum foil, or their composite film. The amount of the additive is to be high enough to reduce the water activity of the raw rice flour to below 0.88. |
