An additional weft is worked in over one part of the needles and elastic threads on the working needles worked on to two fancy stitchers. Specifically, the elastic threads are of pure wool or wool/acrylic, wool/viscose mixtures and the non-elastic fibres of polyester. The tricot is finally impregnated with synthetic resin.
