摘要 PURPOSE:To improve peeling resistance of a skin layer and to make sound absorbing characteristics of the same favorable, by a method wherein after a thermoplastic film has been piled on a fiber plate to which pressure molding has been applied, said film is fused to the surface of the fiber plate by heating and sucking the same. CONSTITUTION:A beltlike glass fiber plate 1 to which pressure molding has been applied in a predetermined thickness, for example, is shifted unidirectionally, upon the top of which a thermoplastic film 2 of the same width and a beltlike state is put on the way and the film 2 is heated and fused by a heater 3 provided on the other side. The film is sucked by a box type suction device 4 applied to the under surface of the glass fiber plate 1 and a molten layer of the film which is on the top is joined together strongly by introducing the same strongly into a fibrous rough surface of the glass fiber plate 1. Therefore, a heat insulation material having a skin layer whose peeling resistance is high is obtained. In addition to the above, as numerous fine vent holes which are hardly visible with the naked eye are generated by heat welding and suction when a piece having a thickness of 20-40mu is used as the film 2, deterioration in sound absorbing characteristics of the glass fiber plate 1 is prevented.
