PURPOSE:To input information regarding a working shape by necessary irreducible key operation by connecting a simple drawing input device where the drawing of the working shape is inputted to a numerical control body and adding a function for grasping the outline of the working shape and inputting only details of the working shape. CONSTITUTION:Original drawing information is read and stored in a memory and coordinate values are calculated. Working data are analyzed on the basis of the input information on the original drawing and the working shape, etc., are displayed on a CRT in display format 33. If there is an uncertain point on the side of the numerical control body 1, data on it is inputted with keys to remove the uncertain point and programming is completed where there is no point to be corrected. A printer is connected to the numerical controller to print out the working shape drawn by the graphic function of the numerical controller and thus obtaining a formal drawing from a freehand drawing. Therefore, the original drawing is inputted before key input, the key input is extremely easy, and the original drawing is inputted only by grasping the outline of the working shape, so a large-capacity memory need not be used and the device is reduced in cost.
