PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of data by periodically printing out the ratio between the area and height of the peak of at least one prescribed component to a data processor so that the deterioration of a column is monitored. CONSTITUTION:The ratio between the area and height of the peak of at least one component GLY among, for example, prescribed components ASP, THR, SER, GLU, GLY, ALA is periodically printed out to the data processor so that the deterioration of the column is monitored. Then the ratio between the area (A) and height (H) of at least one component GLY among the prescribed components ASP, THR, SER, GLU, GLY, ALA is periodically printed out to the data processor, by which the deterioration of the column is periodically monitored. More specifically, the height H decreases as compared to the area A and A/H increases if the column is deteriorated. The ratio is thereupon printed out as the threshold of the column deterioration when the ratio exceeds a specified value. The reliability of the data is thus improved.
