PURPOSE:To enable unmanned operation and to attain enhancement of the efficiency of a deodorizing apparatus and the safety of equipment, by automating the opening/closing operation of the malodor blocking apparatus arranged to the inlet of the sand sedimentation basin of a relay pump plant. CONSTITUTION:The opening/closing control of a malodor blocking plate is cyclically performed by the control flow of a malodor blocking apparatus control panel 4. That is, the operation of the malodor blocking plate 1 is started by the H-state of a water level and an abrupt water level rising signal by the water gauge 31 provided to a take-in port 15, the operation signal of a rainwater pump 13, the rainfall signal of a rain gauge 2 and the signals of the full closure of a front gate 21 due to cyclic timer operation for the removal of scum and the blocking of inflow sewage. The closing operation of the malodor blocking plate 1 is performed by the L-state of the water level due to the water gauge 31 and the signal after a definite time has elapsed from the point of time when a cycle operation signal for removal of scum is fully opened.
