PURPOSE:To obtain the device in the title having a simple structure, wherein tension is given to the printing ribbon in the front stage and the rear stage of a printing part by one motion, and the printing ribbon feeding direction is changed by increasing the tension of the printing ribbon. CONSTITUTION:A tension lever 30 is energized in one direction, and supported so that it is freely slidden. A plurality of contractors 34, which bend the path of the printing ribbon 14, are provided at the front stage and the rear stage of the printing part 13. The operation of the tension lever 30 is directly detected by a detector 37. A reversing mechanism 20 is reversed by said detected signal, and the printing ribbon feeding direction is changed. |
