PURPOSE:To vary minutely the phase with simple circuit constitution by providing a CW oscillator branching a Constant Wave signal into two, a 90 deg. branching filter branching the one branched signal by 90 deg. and a CW variable phase shifter changing the phase of the other branched signal branched by the CW oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The CW (Constant Waves) oscillator 11 branches the CW signal into two. The 90 deg. branching filter 12 comprising a hybrid circuit branches one branched signal by the CW oscillator 11 by the phase of 90 deg.. Further, the CW variable phase shifter 13 varies the other branched signal by the CW oscillator 11. Mixers 14, 15 multiply a signal from the 90 deg. branching filter 12 with a signal through the CW variable phase shifter 13. Low-pass filters 16, 17 extract only a DC component among the signal from the mixers 14, 15 and control multipliers 19, 20 by using the component. The band signal phase shifter constituted as above varies the band signal to an optional phase continuously.
