PURPOSE:To transfer the state to the receivable state automatically when facsimile transmission is finished by switching a changeover switch in applying facsimile communication. CONSTITUTION:The facsimile equipment switches a changeover switch 24 from to the position of a telephone set into the position of the facsimile equipment by a command of a register 22. Thus, a current detector 16 is brought into the undetecting state of a loop current from the detection state and the resultant signal is inputted to an opening control circuit 17. When facsimile communication is finished, a communication end signal given from a facsimile control section (not shown) resets a register 22 to turn the changeover switch 24 to the side of the telephone set 1 thereby opening a telephone line.
