PURPOSE:To prevent a mistake in an input or a forgetting in the input by providing a storage means for storing a reason code of the input and an applying means for applying the stored reason code to a comment field of a change and additional statement. CONSTITUTION:An input interpretation part 10 for inputting previously the reason code as the reason for the change and the addition of the change and addition statement, the reason code storage part 11 for storing the inputted reason code and the reason code applying part 12 for applying the stored reason code to the interpretation field of the change and addition statement are included. During a start of a correction of a source program, the reason code for the change and addition is previously inputted, the inputted reason code is stored, and the stored reason code is applied automatically to the interpretation field of the statement to which the reason code is changed and added. Thereby, the input time for the change and addition statement is shortened and the mistake in the input and the forgetting in the input of the reason code can be removed.
