PURPOSE:To detect instantly generation of an error with a comparatively simple hardware by allowing a trigger station to supervise always the transmission/ reception control of a trigger signal and a polling signal sent from itself. CONSTITUTION:The trigger signal and the polling signal sent from a transmission control section 16-1 in a trigger station TS1 is inputted directly to the 1st control signal detection section 12 on one hand and inputted to the 2nd control signal detection section 13 while being circulated through a transmission line on the other hand. The 1st and 2nd counters 14, 15 are initialized at the start of the transmission of the trigger signal and the polling signal, the counter 14 adds number of times of detection of trigger signals from the detection section 12, subtracts the number of times of detection of the trigger signals from the detection section 13, the counter 15 adds the number of times of detection of the polling signals from the detection section 12 and subtracts the number of times of detection of the polling signals from the detection section 13. Thus, when there is no error of the transmission/reception of the trigger signal and the polling signal, the values of the counters 14, 15 always restore to the initial value. Then the malfunction of the polling control is detected by supervising the count.
