PURPOSE:To improve the write processing speed of a picture memory by generating an address corresponding to a thing to be identified when a lateral axis, a longitudinal axis and a 45 deg. tilting line are identified. CONSTITUTION:Vector data is inputted to a recognition circuit 1, and the inclination of a straight line is decided from X and Y coordinates at the start and end points of the data. A case where a Y-axial direction does not change, a case where an X-axial direction does not change and a 45 deg. tilting line are identified. A vector which cannot be identified is calculated in a differential analyzer 7, and inputted to a buffer 3 of a pipe line system. On the other hand, an address generator circuit 2 counts up an address and stores it in a buffer 4 according as the data is recoginized as a lateral line, a logitudinal line and a 45 deg. tilting line. In accordance with the recognition signal of the recognition circuit 1, the outputs of the buffers 3 and 4 are inputted to an XY address register 6 through a switching circuit 5. If many vector data such as to generate an address exist, the write processing of the picture can be speed up. |
