PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of the titled device, by realizing desired functions with several constituting parts, such as one rotary driving source, connecting members of the 1st and 2nd arms and a leader block, guiding means, etc. CONSTITUTION:The passage 22 shown by an alternate long and short dash line is a passage, through which a pin 19 passes when this device operates, and a guide groove 23 is provided in a base plate 1 along the passage 22. When a cartridge 2 is inserted into its mounting position, a leader block 5 firmly stuck to the leading edge of a tape 3 from a feed reel 4 in the cartridge 2 is placed on a prescribed position and the pin 19 enters the inner part of the slot 27 of the leader block 5. When the cartridge 2 is moved downward thereafter, the leader block 5 also moves downward and an enlarged section 20 and recessed section 28 are engaged with each other. Accordingly, the leader block 5 is coupled with the pin 19 and the leader block 5 and tape 3 connected with the leader block 5 can be pulled around along a desired passage by means of the pin 19.
