PURPOSE:To heighten regidity, to heighten frequency of the resonance point of a head positioning device and to stably and accurately position the head by forming a housing and a yoke integrally. CONSTITUTION:A conventional structure 16 in which a yoke and a housing are formed integrally is fixed to a magnetic disk base 13 by plural screws. A cover 17 is attached to form a magnetic path after inserting a coil 9 into the yoke part of a structure 15, and screwed to the structure 15. Thereby, the first resonance point of the head positioning device becomes about 2,300Hz, and higher frequency can be obtained compared with the conventional case (1,700-2,000Hz) in which the housing and yoke are separated.
