PURPOSE:To stablly drive a shift register for a long term by setting a terminal of load to specified potential for a fixed time after completion of transfer of an input pulse. CONSTITUTION:After completion of transfer of an input pulse, voltage is applied to CK1, CK2, and Q1 and Q3 are made on state, and the same time, VB is set from VD to V. Then, signals at points A, B and C change as shown in the figure, and points A and C are set to specified potential V for a fixed time. If V is lower potential than Vo, gate potential of Q2 and Q4 becomes low potential to the source potential for a fixed time. Thus, application of electric field of only the same direction to an insulator layer can be prevented, and characteristic of the FET can be stabilized for a long term. |
