PURPOSE:To prevent the miscutting by providing a checking process for interference occurring between the tolls positioned at the tool entry start and relief end points and a work between a process to calculate said both entry start and relief end points and a process to calculate a tool entry route. CONSTITUTION:When a work 1 is cut, a tool 3 is moved to a tool entry start point 4 designated by a machine working program in an circular arcuate shape via a tool entry route 5. Then the circumferential surface of the tool 3 is converted to a machining start point 6 and a machining surface 2 is cut. The tool 3 is moved to have a round along a machining tool route 8 up to a tool relief end point 9 along a relief tool route 10. A process to check the interference between the tools positioned at both points 4 and 9 is provided between the process to calculate these points 4 and 9 and the process to calculate the route 5. This prevents the interference occurring between the tool 3 and the work 1 for automatic production of a machine working program with high reliability.
