LEAD SMELTING METHOD BY FLOW SMELTING

摘要

PURPOSE:To minimize dust rate as well as slag losses of lead and to stably recover black lead by carrying out the blow smelting of a lead-sulfide concentrate by use of calcium-ferrite slag in the place of iron-silicate slag. CONSTITUTION:The lead-sulfide concentrate is blown together with, as solvent, a lime-type solvent and/or a ferrous solvent sufficient to form the calcium-ferrite slag and pure oxygen or oxygen-enriched air from above a molten bath in which molten lead and calcium-ferrite slag coexist by use of a lance at a pressure capable of sufficient infiltration into the molten lead bath. The lead sulfide is oxidized to form black lead.
