PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of a brake force, by a method wherein, in a device in which antilock control devices are mounted one at each brake hydraulic system, during antilock control of only rear wheels, unnecessary pressure reduction of the oil pressure of front wheels is prevented from occurring. CONSTITUTION:A gate valve 2 and a hold valve 3, which are both of a normally opening type, are situated in the middle of a main route 1 extended from a master cylinder M/C. The main route 1 is branched on the downstream side into two routes 1a and 1b running to a wheel cylinder FtW/C and RrW/C of front and rear wheels, and in the second route 1b, a proportioning valve 17 and a second pressure reducing valve 18 are situated. The downstream side of a hold valve 3 of the main route 1 is connected to an intermediate oil chamber A in the gate valve 2 through a first bypass passage 4 in which a first pressure reducing valve 5, a reservoir 6, an electromagnetic pump 7, an accumulator 8, and a return valve 9 are situated,and the downstream of the valve 17 is connected to the bypass passage 4 up a line from the reservoir 6 through a second bypass passage 19.
