PURPOSE:To enable opening and closing merely by rotating a roof and facilitate operation while prevent vibration and noise by dividing said roof which is made of a hard member into a front and a rear part, and rotatably installing these parts to a body via installing parts respectively. CONSTITUTION:A roof 2 extends from a front header 4 on the upper part of a front window 3 backward to a rear body 5 to cover a car room 6 in a vehicle 1. This roof 2 is formed with a hard member such as a steel plate, etc. and divided into a roof front part 7 which covers a car room front part 6a and a roof rear part 8 which covers a car room rear part 6b. A nearly inverted U-shaped installing part 10 is provided on the roof front part 7, and both lower end parts 11a of both side parts 11 of the installing part 10, are rotatably installed to the front edge 13a of an inner panel by means of pins 15. Installing parts 16 are also provided on the lower end parts of both side parts of the roof rear part 8, and the end part 16a of the installing part 16 is rotatably installed to the inner panel with a pin 17. Thereby, said roof parts 7, 8 can be rotated centering around the pins 15, 17 respectively, to be opened and closed.
