PURPOSE:To obtain a fragrance enhancer for enhancing fragrance and diffusion properties and providing natural aroma, by blending floral-like mixed perfume with 1,2 or 4,5-epithiohumulene or 4,5-epithiocaryophyllene. CONSTITUTION:Conventional floral-like blended perfume is mixed with 0.001-2wt% one or more of compounds shown by formulas I, II and III to provide natural aroma having extremely improved body, width, depth, etc., of fragrance. The compound shown by formula III, one of the substances, is obtained by adding caryophyllene and sulfur powder to cyclohexane, cooling them in an iced water bath, irradiating them with light rays, filtering unreacted sulfur after reaction is over, removing the solvent under reduced pressure to give a crude substance, filtering off sulfur precipitated again and purifying the prepared yellow oil. The fragrance enhancer itself is a substance having smell far from floral-like perfume.
