PURPOSE:To manage data with high efficiency by producing the change information containing the processing contents, the old/new sequence numbers and the replacement data for the change of data and processing. CONSTITUTION:A sequence number filed 7 is provided to the record having the sequential data to be stored in a data base 1. A relational data base managing device 2 extracts the desired data out of the base 1 and sends it to an application processor 3 against the request give from the processor 3. Here a change information producing part 5 produces the change information including the processing contents of the deletion, insertion, replacement, etc., of the data record, the old/new sequence numbers and the replacement data. A replacement processing part 6 produces a command from the change information of the part 5 to give it to the device 2 and also replaces the data base. Thus it is possible to easily perform the insertion, replacement, etc., of the sequential data and to manage these data with the high efficiency.
