发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF SPECULAR MAGNETIC DISK
摘要 PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a specular magnetic disk having high coercive force continuously by forming an anodic oxidation film by means of plasma on the surface of a mirror-finished Al-alloy disk, by depositing a magnetic metal on the coated surface, and by applying heat treatment to the above. CONSTITUTION:The disk made of Al alloy is mirror-finished by polishing, etc., and degreased. Then a positive bias voltage is applied to the above disk and negative oxygen ions produced by means of plasma are deposited to a required thickness on the surface of the above disk to form the anodic oxidation film. Subsequently, the above disk is attached to the cathode and the magnetic metal such as Fe, Co, etc., is used as the anode, and then the magnetic metal is vaporized by heating, etc., and ionized by glow discharge, followed by application of bias voltage, so that above-mentioned magnetic metal is deposited on the above anodic oxidation film to a required thickness. After that, the above deposited magnetic metal is oxidized by heat treatment. In this way, the specular magnetic disk having a thin-film recording medium with high coercive force can be obtained stably by the dry process.
