发明名称 METHOD OF HIGH-EFFICIENCY POWER GENERATION
摘要 PURPOSE:To quickly cope with the fluctuation in load and make the efficiency of electricity generation high, by setting the concentration of oxygen of oxygen- enriched air at a prescribed value and using the air as at least one of a gasifying medium for a coal gasification furnace and an oxidizer for a fuel cell to facilitate starting and stoppage. CONSTITUTION:Some of oxygen-enriched air, which is produced by processing air in an oxygen-enriched air production unit 1 and whose oxygen concentration is 50-95vol%, is supplied to a coal gasification furnace 2 and used as a coal gasifier therein. Gas produced by the furnace 2 is supplied to a gas refiner 3 and removed of sulfur and dust. The rest of the oxygen-enriched air is supplied to a solid-electrolyte fuel cell 4 and used as an oxidizer therein for the gas supplied from the gas refiner 3. The output from the fuel cell 4 is changed into AC power by an inverter 5. After the heat of exhaust gas from the fuel cell 4 is recovered by a heat exchanger 6, the exhaust gas is discharged. A steam turbine 7 is driven by the recovered heat. Starting and stoppage are thus facilitated to improve the property of following the fluctuation in load, to attain a high efficiency as a whole.
