PURPOSE:To give a various print ranging from monocolor to multicolor on to the front and back surfaces of a plurality of webs by setting a pair of one-surface printing units in piled constitution in separated positions to the right and left directions on a single machine bed. CONSTITUTION:The web W1 is shifted at an angle of 90 deg. by a turning bar 31, introduced into the one-surface printing unit consisting of a plate cylinder 10 and an impression cylinder located on the left side on the machine bed 1 and subjected to front-surface printing. Then, it is introduced into the one-surface printing unit consisting of a plate cylinder 21 and an impression cylinder 25 located on the right side on the machine bed 1 to be subjected there to back-surface printing, shifted in its course at an angle of 90 deg. by a turning bar 34 and discharged backward. On the other hand, the web W2, after being shifted at an angle 90 deg. by the turning bar 34 and subjected to the front-surface monocolor printing by a plate cylinder 11 and an impression cylinder 15 on the left side, is further subjected to the back-surface monocolor printing by a plate cylinder 22 and an impression cylinder 26 on the right side. Furthermore, front-surface two-color printing is added thereto by plate cylinders 12 and 13 and an impression cylinder 16 and next the front-surface two- color printing is further added thereto by reversing plate cylinders 23 and 24 and a reversing impression cylinder 27 on the right side. Thereafter, it is shifted in the direction at an angle 90 deg. by a turning bar 36a and discharged backward. |
