PURPOSE:To reduce a program scale and also to simplify an instruction control by designating the execution and the function in different fields and therefore reducing greatly the program size. CONSTITUTION:An instruction 10 to be controlled consists of the 1st and 2nd fields 11 and 13 which are independent of each other. Then the designation of execution carried out in the field 11 is decoded by the 1st decoding means 21. While the designation of function is carried out in the field 13 against the execution designation of the field 11. This function designation is decoded by the 2nd decoding means 23. Furthermore a memory means 30 holds the output of the means 23 until the function is designated again in the field 13. Thus the program size is greatly reduced. This attains the reduction of the program scale as well as the simplified control of the instruction.
